Good Morning Y’all.
Thank you so much for your nice comments on Week Five of the ORC LinkingParty. Sorry for being sneaky and only
giving you teasers. That’s just how I
roll.
So, while sourcing finds for my room, I came across a ton of
shizzle at a place I normally scoff.
Have you checked out Kirkland’s website lately? I had written them off years ago as being
filled with bad safari prints and faux magnolias. But then I saw this:
Gold Splendor Table Lamp (imagine this with a black shade!) |
Seriously? Kirkland’s? Granted, you still have to wade through your
fair share of Kirkland’s-esque nonsense, but I’d happily do that to find a diamond
in the rough. Let’s take a look at some of my favorites, m'kay?
Silver Plated Table Lamp |
Golden Sunlight Mirror, 28x28 |
Red Geo Wall Mirror, 20x20 |
Indoor/Outdoor Candle Sconce |
Now I feel kind of bad for being a hater.
Spiced Orbit Wall Mirror, 30x30 |
Monterrey Candle Holder |
Well, maybe not.
xoxo K
I haven't thought of them in forever. Those are some good finds...among the regular Kirklands crazy.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about Kirklands, but I got my awesome, huge knot mirror by my front door from there a while back for something like $60 (it was on sale). Of course, I about passed out from the piped in potpourri smell before finding the mirror, but it was worth it. I find their mirrors and lamps are often worth going through all the crap. Love these finds!
ReplyDeleteHmmm... usually not my go to place but will have to take a second look! love the lamps:)
ReplyDeleteYou had to hurt me at the end, didn't you? Haha!! I, too, wrote off Kirkland's ages ago, who knew?
ReplyDeleteLove Kirklands it's a great go to source for solving over-the-budget jobs!!
ReplyDeleteYou are so funny. I never consider them. I could click over and try. That last one was going to be your Christmas present from me. Back to the drawing board.
ReplyDeleteHa Ha...those last 2 remind me of some of the bad ones at Pier One. Whyyyyyyyy?
ReplyDeleteI need that gold lamp...it'll go great with my newly painted precious emerald ikea hack dresser. BTW, I discovered you on instagram through one of the ladies that I follow...I'm adding your blog to my "faves folder" so I can read in the mornings while drinking coffee before headed for work. Serious eye candy around here! :)
ReplyDeleteToo funny. I just used the lantern in an install today. I also scored a lamp for the same project. There are always a few gems amid the nonsense.
